This Applied Law Certificate Level 3 qualification can be studied in place of one of your A Levels. It can also be offered to Business BTEC Level 3 students and Travel and Tourism BTEC Level 3 students.

In these cases we reduce the size of your BTEC Business / Travel Diploma, by 60 credits, and substitute this for the 60 Credit BTEC Applied Law Certificate instead.

This means that you still achieve the same UCAS points, and the full 180 credits from your two year programme.

You will study specific areas of English law in detail and you will develop excellent, and transferable, analytical skills.

You will achieve the Applied Law Certificate Level 3. Many students go on to university and become qualified lawyers. Many of our students have followed different career routes, making use of the analytical and communication skills that the subject provides.

We build on your existing skills and your interest in legal issues as you embark on studying what, for most, is a new subject.

This course is 100% coursework based and will suit students who wish to study the subject through assignment- based assessment, rather than examinations.

Applicants should have five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English and maths.
