ESOL

English is essential for any job or studies you might want to follow.

If English is not your first language and you need to improve your English-language skills so that you can study or find work, we can help you.

We run many courses during the year, including ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages).

If you are not a British citizen or want to extend your visa, we can also help you to prepare for UK Visa Extension and ‘Life in the UK’ exams with our citizenship courses.

Read the course details below, then register your interest to arrange a free assessment of your language abilities and learn more about what course would be right for you. The registration form is hosted on our group site.

Preparation for UK Visas, Citizenship and Settlement: Are you looking to become a British citizen? Do you want to extend your UK visa? We can help prepare you for the UK Visa Extension and ‘Life in the UK’ exams. Please use the enquiry form on this page to contact us.

There are different levels of ESOL classes so when you apply, you will come for an assessment to check which level class would be the best for you to join. You will study all aspects of the English language, including: speaking and listening, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Courses are part-time, in the daytime or evening.

Courses are divided into three terms and the cost for each term is £260. This might be lower, or higher, depending on your personal circumstances. Please see our funding page for more details.

ESOL courses in Oxfordshire

Because of the high demand for English language lessons, we have made a range of courses that will support the large number of asylum seekers who are hoping to enrol onto our courses at our colleges.

We are working with local authorities and charities to help refugees and asylum seekers get the essential skills that they need to transition into life and work in the United Kingdom.

Please call us on 0800 612 6008 or email us for more details.
