Activate Learning celebrated the dedication and achievements of colleagues at the Activate Appreciation Awards at City of Oxford College and University Centre on Wednesday 14 October.
The event recognised staff who make a real difference to learners, support their colleagues and bring our values and award-winning Learning Philosophy to life every day.
From inspiring teaching and exceptional learner support to innovation, teamwork and long service, the awards highlighted the many ways our colleagues help learners and communities thrive.
Celebrating our people is an important part of our commitment to prioritising people and culture. By recognising the talent, dedication and hard work of our colleagues, we celebrate the positive impact they have across Activate Learning and the difference they make to the lives of our learners.
Our Learning Philosophy, focusing on the relationship between emotions, motivation and the brain, reminds us of the importance of emotional safety, motivation and creating the conditions for everyone to achieve their potential. This helps both staff and students feel safe, find purpose and make progress.
