What you'll learn
During the course we will prepare you with the relevant study skills and attributes to ensure you are ready to progress to A Levels, or other Level 3 qualifications, for example BTEC Extended Diplomas, with the aim of progressing to university or employment/an apprenticeship.
How you'll learn and be assessed
You will study using a range of techniques including:
- group work
- independent study
- research
- practical activities
- homework
We expect our students to be fully committed to their studies and attend all timetabled lessons, talks, tutorials and workshops. You will also have a weekly tutorial.
In addition, students can expect to attend trips and visits according to the needs of the individual subjects.
This GCSE is assessed by coursework and a final exam.
Entry requirements
You need to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and maths. Students with no prior qualifications will be accepted based on conversation and assessments with faculty.
