What you'll learn

As part of the course, there are a number of trips, some of which are at an additional cost, and a bursary is available
How you'll learn and be assessed
You will learn in a supportive environment with mixed delivery in classroom sessions and outdoor activities.
You will learn through practical assessment and real-world scenarios combined with small written assessments to gain invaluable experience and confidence to pursue further education.
Progression
On successful completion of this course, you can progress to a Level 2 course in several areas: Public Services, Sport, Business, Early Years, Health and Social Care.
This course will help you to develop the skills for a range of careers.
Entry requirements
You will need GCSE grade 2 in English and maths, plus 2 additional GCSEs at grades 1-2.
You will also need a notebook and a selection of stationery and pens. A laptop would be preferable, but these can be obtained through the college Learning Environment
This is a uniformed course, therefore you will be required to purchase a uniform through the college, in addition to clothing suitable for sport and outdoor activity.
